Justin Israelsen, DMD
My wife and I recently moved from Boise, ID to Sierra Vista, Arizona. We love the climate change and look forward to much warmer winters. We enjoy many outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, taking walks, and playing in the backyard with our son.
I graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2011 and then completed an advanced residency in dentistry at Baylor in Dallas, Texas. Since graduating, I have practiced dentistry in Austin, Texas, and Boise, Idaho. I was very excited when Dr. Hanes and Dr. Schrader gave me the opportunity to purchase their practice in Sierra Vista, AZ. My wife was born and raised in Snowflake, Arizona, and we were looking for an opportunity to purchase a practice in southern Arizona. We are very excited to be a part of the Sierra Vista community.
I have wanted to be a dentist for as long as I can remember. I love helping patients resolve dental issues that cause pain and discomfort. Seeing a patient leave happy and pain-free is very important to me and brings me a great sense of accomplishment. I invite you to come by and meet our professional and experienced team. Tony Trujillo, DDS
I was born and raised in Colorado and was fortunate to have spent most of that time in or near the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I have family from all over the Southwest so no matter where I am it feels like home. My wife is my best friend and we have five great children. I love participating in their various activities and sharing their achievements as I watch them grow into unique individuals. Spending time with my family is my favorite activity. We enjoy doing things outside, working on projects and watching fun videos together. My faith is very important to me and I enjoy being involved at various levels within the church.
I had the privilege of receiving my dental training from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. While in school I took advantage of as many outreach opportunities as I could which included working with geriatric and special needs adults, community dental clinics, pediatric dentistry, and a mission trip to provide dental services to orphans in Cambodia.
I love helping others and dentistry has afforded me with many great opportunities to provide meaningful services. I believe that patient education and prevention are key aspects of appropriate oral care. I enjoy building relationships with my patients. I am committed to taking the time to make sure my patients are as comfortable as possible and in doing my best work at each dental visit.
